Cookie notice
Cookie Policy
This page explains which cookies and similar technologies are used by klarity.it, in accordance with the guidelines issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority on 10 June 2021.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that websites save on the user's device in order to store information between visits. Similar technologies, such as tracking pixels, browser local storage or device fingerprinting, make it possible to collect information in a comparable way.
Cookies are divided into technical cookies, which are necessary for the website to work or are expressly requested by the user in order to provide a service, and profiling cookies, which reconstruct browsing habits in order to deliver advertising in line with the user's preferences. Profiling cookies require the user's prior consent; technical cookies do not.
Cookies used by this website
This is a static showcase website: there are no restricted areas, shopping baskets, preferences to store or authentication systems, so there is no need to install even a technical cookie. The site also contains none of the following:
- profiling or behavioural advertising cookies and tools;
- traffic statistics or analytics systems (such as Google Analytics);
- social buttons or widgets that track browsing;
- videos, maps or fonts loaded from external servers: the typefaces are hosted directly on our own domain.
For this reason no consent banner is displayed: since no cookie is installed, there is nothing to authorise.
The notice shown on your first visit
On a first visit the website shows a short information notice at the bottom of the page, pointing out that no cookies are used and linking to this page and to the privacy notice. It is not a consent banner: there is nothing to accept or refuse, and browsing is in no way conditional on it.
When the user closes the notice, the website stores a single technical item in the browser (an entry named klarity-notice-ok in local storage), used solely to avoid showing the notice again on later visits. This information stays on the user's device, is never transmitted to any server, contains no personal data and cannot be used to identify or track the user. It therefore falls among the technical tools which, under Article 122 of the Italian Privacy Code, do not require consent; it can be deleted at any time by clearing the site data in the browser settings.
Data collected automatically by the server
Irrespective of cookies, the server hosting the website records the technical data required to transmit the pages (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). This data is processed solely for the security and proper operation of the service, is not combined with other information and is not used to identify users.
The website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Vercel Inc.; details of the processing and of the safeguards adopted for any transfers are set out in the Privacy Policy.
How to manage cookies in your browser
Even though this website installs none, users can check and delete cookies saved by other websites at any time through their browser settings:
Updates
Should the website in future introduce tools that involve the use of cookies — for example browsing statistics or embedded third-party content — this notice will be updated and, where necessary, prior consent will be requested through a dedicated banner.
