What data we collect
klarity.it is a static showcase website. It does not collect personal data automatically: there are no registration systems, restricted areas, traffic statistics or profiling tools.
Data provided voluntarily by the user
The form in the Contact section does not send data to our servers: when it is completed, the browser opens the user's own email program with a pre-filled message, which the user decides whether to send. The data that reaches us is therefore whatever the user chooses to send by email: full name, company, email address and any information entered in the message (for example the description of the component, the volumes and the timing required).
The same applies to enquiries made by writing directly to one of the email addresses shown on the website or by calling the published telephone numbers.
Technical connection data
As with any website, the server hosting klarity.it temporarily records the technical data required for transmission (IP address, date and time of the request, page requested, browser type). This data is processed solely for security purposes and for the proper operation of the service, and is not used to identify users.
Why we process the data and on what legal basis
- To respond to requests for information and quotations. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To manage any business relationship arising from the enquiry, including quotations, orders and support. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Article 6(1)(b)) and compliance with legal obligations, in particular tax and accounting obligations (Article 6(1)(c)).
- To keep the website secure. Legal basis: the controller's legitimate interest in preventing abuse and malfunctions (Article 6(1)(f)).
Providing data is optional, but refusing to provide the essential items (name, email address and description of the enquiry) makes it impossible for us to follow up on the request.
We carry out no automated marketing, newsletters or profiling. Any commercial communications will be sent only with explicit consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
How long we keep the data
- Enquiries with no commercial follow-up: up to 24 months from the last exchange, so that we can handle any later follow-up.
- Data relating to contractual relationships: for the duration of the relationship and, thereafter, for 10 years, in accordance with civil and tax obligations (Article 2220 of the Italian Civil Code).
- Technical server logs: for the time strictly necessary for the security of the service, as a rule no longer than 12 months.
Who we share the data with
Data may be processed by the controller's authorised staff and disclosed, to the extent necessary, to:
- the other companies in the group — CSR Italia Srl and Unika Srl — where the enquiry concerns mould design, or production and packaging, and their involvement is required in order to reply;
- providers of IT, email and hosting services, appointed as data processors under Article 28 of the GDPR;
- tax, accounting and legal advisers, as well as public authorities in the cases provided for by law.
Data is not disseminated and is never sold to third parties for marketing purposes.
The website is hosted on infrastructure provided by Vercel Inc., which may involve a transfer of technical data to third countries: such transfers take place on the basis of the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission (Article 46 GDPR). Apart from this case, we do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area.
Your rights
Users may exercise the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR at any time:
- access their data and obtain a copy of it;
- request its rectification or erasure;
- request restriction of processing, or object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- receive the data in a structured, commonly used format (data portability);
- withdraw any consent given, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
Requests should be sent to info@klarity.it. The controller will reply within one month of receipt.
Users who consider the processing unlawful also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, Piazza Venezia 11, 00187 Rome — garanteprivacy.it), with the supervisory authority of their country of residence, or to bring proceedings before the courts.
Security and changes
The controller applies appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure, including encrypted transmission of the website's pages (HTTPS) and restricted access to company mailboxes.
This notice may be updated to reflect changes in legislation or in the services offered. The version in force is always the one published on this page, together with the date it was last updated.
